How do I delete my Simple Financial account?

You can ask us to delete your account at any time:

1. Send an email to info@simplefinancial.ca from the email address linked to your account.
2. Use the subject line Delete my account.
3. We may ask a few questions to confirm it's really you before we go ahead.

Once your account is deleted, we'll confirm by email. You'll be signed out of the website and the mobile app, and you won't be able to sign back in to that account.

What gets deleted, and what do you keep?

Deleting your account removes your sign-in details and your profile. We're required by law to keep certain records, such as loan agreements and payment history, for a period of time after a loan ends. We keep those records secure and don't use them for anything else. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.

What if I have an active loan?

If you have an active loan or an outstanding balance, it needs to be paid in full before your account can be deleted. Contact us and we'll walk you through your options.
